Payment policy.
Our primary accepted payment method is Interac e-Transfer. Below are the accounts to which payment may be directed, along with the terms that apply to every transaction.
Accepted method
Interac e-Transfer
E-Transfer is our default and preferred method of payment. It is fast, traceable, and incurs no processing surcharge on either side. Transfers should be directed to one of the two official Distinguished Decor payment accounts below, and should reference your invoice number in the message field.
Always confirm the recipient address against this page or your invoice before sending. Distinguished Decor will never request payment to an address that is not listed above or on an official invoice sent from a distinguisheddecor.com address.
Invoicing
Every piece is reserved by private inquiry. Once a piece is confirmed, we issue an itemized invoice by email that includes all applicable taxes, crating, and delivery charges.
Deposits & holds
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to place a hold on a piece. The balance is due prior to crating or dispatch. Holds without deposit lapse after 72 hours.
Taxes & fees
Canadian buyers are charged GST/HST as applicable to the delivery province. International buyers are responsible for duties, brokerage, and import taxes at the destination.
Other methods
Wire transfer and certified cheque are accepted by prior arrangement for transactions that exceed e-Transfer daily or weekly limits. Credit card is not accepted at this time.
Confirmation
We acknowledge every e-Transfer by email within one business day. Please retain the transaction reference number until your confirmation is received.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once a piece has been crated or shipped. Condition or provenance disputes are handled case-by-case with the dealer of record.

We don’t ring pieces through a cart.We place them.
